Lady Meherbai D Tata Education Scholarship

The Lady Meherbai D Tata Education Scholarship is provided by the Tata Education Trust. The organization is amongst India’s oldest, non-sectarian philanthropic organizations. The scholarship is provided for women graduates who want to pursue a higher education abroad.

Fields of Study:

• Social work
• Social sciences
• Education
• Education and welfare of children with special needs
• Empowerment of women
• Gender studies
• Child health – development and nutrition
• Health policy and health education
• Public health – community health services, reproductive health
• Rural development work (with a focus on women and children)
• Communication for development (with a focus on women’s issues)
• Development studies.

• Applicant must be a woman graduate from a renowned university.
• Applicant must have a remarkable academic track record.
• Applicant must have applied for admission/secured admission for higher education in the accredited universities of US, UK or Europe for the session 2018-19.
• Applicant must have a minimum 2 years of work experience in the requisite fields of study is mandatory

Note: Candidates applying for part-time, short-term or correspondence courses are not eligible to apply.

Step 1: Send an email with the following details to igpedulmdtet@tatatrusts.org requesting for the application form between 15 March 2018 to 13 April 2018

• The course applicant wishes to pursue.
• The university to be attended.
• The course fee required.
• Sources of funding.
• The current profile of the applicant.

Step 2: Fill the application form.
Step 3: Attach the required documents.
Step 4: Send the application form with the required documents to Trust’s office, before the specified date.
