Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students
The Human Resources Development (HRD) Ministry’s Department of Higher Education provides this fellowship named as Central Sector Scheme for Top Colleges and Universities Students.
The candidates must score 80 percentiles in 12th Class.
Family income must not exceed more than Rs. 8 lakh per annum
Amount – The amount rewarded is INR 10,000 per academic year.
Total Seat – The total seat available is 82,000.
Combined Counselling Board Scholarship for Professional Courses
Combined Counselling Board (CCB) also provides the medical scholarship named as Combined Counselling Board Scholarship. Candidates who aspire, can apply online on the CCB’s website. It will open in July month.
It covers the hostel fee of the entire medical course.
To avail it, the aspirants must have
Minimum 40-50% (depending on the medical course) in class 12 or an equivalent.
Hold the required degree according to their courses.
Amount –It offers a reward of up to INR 4 Lakh.
Total Seat – CCB reserves 10% -20% of seats in various courses and branches of India’s leading institutes.
AISEE (All India Scholarship Entrance Examination)
It is a national level merit based scholarship exam in India provided by an which is registered under the ministry of finance act 1994 is being registered with Central Excise Department of India. It provides engineering and medical scholarship.
Eligibility
Class 12th passed/ appearing students from any recognized board across India can apply for this scholarship. The scholarship is applicable for medical and engineering only.
Awards
AISEE Scholarships provide up to 100% for Engineering and Medical students of Government college.
AISEE Scholarships reward up to Rs. 80,000/- for Engineering and Medical students for Private college.
Procedure
Candidates can apply the form in online mode, there is no offline mode of application submission.
Application Fee
The application fee is INR 1200 for all the candidates irrespective of male and female, from the web browser or mobile application.
This is applicable for all quotas- SC/ST/OBC/General.
Vahani Scholarship
Vahani Scholarship is a non-profit organization which provides the Vahani Scholarship for the under graduated medical students who belong to economically weaker section.
For this scholarship, candidates are selected based on academic excellence, consistency & application quality, and economic hardships.
Amount – It covers full tuition fee, accommodation, and a tablet.
Total Seat – Total seat available is 20 per year.
The All India Pre-Medical Scholarship Test (AIPMST)
Candidates who are willing to pursue medicine may also take advantage of scholarships through the All India Pre-Medical Scholarship Test which is provided by Brainztorm Technical Excellence.
Students can apply online in March for this fellowship.
Candidates who scored minimum 60% in 12th class.
While applying for the exam, candidates must not be over 26 years of age.
Amount – It awards up to full tuition fee waiver.
