Government Scholarship Exam

All India Scholarship Entrance Examination (AISEE) –
AISEE is a national level scholarship test for engineering and medical aspirants, registered with the Ministry of Finance Act 1934 under the central excise department of India. The main aim of the scholarship is to bridge the gap between ambition and knowledge of a talented student.
Eligibility
- Students appearing in class XII or XIIth passed can apply for the scholarship.
- The scholarship is applicable for engineering and MBBS/BDS.
Rewards Under the Scholarship
- AISEE Scholarships up to 100% for Medical and Engineering students of a Government college.
- AISEE Scholarships up to Rs.80,000/- for Engineering and Medical students of Private college, they also reward students with laptops, tablets.

INSPIRE Scholarship –
INSPIRE stands for Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research. It is a scholarship implemented by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.
It aims at inspiring students in natural or basic science. This scholarship is also referred to as SHE (Scholarship Programme for the Higher Studies). It is expected to give an uplift to innovation, and research.
Eligibility
- The candidate must be within the age group of 17-22 years.
- Candidates should have secured among 10,000 ranks in the JEE Mains and should have also get enrolled in the B. Sc. or M. Sc. course.
- Students should have secured among 10,000 ranks in the NEET Exam and should have to get enrolled in the B. Sc. or M. Sc. course.
Rewards Under Scholarship
- It grants 10,000 scholarship every year.
- The qualified student got the award of INR 80,000.
Pragati Scholarship for Girls-
Pragati Scholarship for girls is a government program launched by MHRD, implemented by AICTE. The aim of this scholarship is to provide scholarship to the talented female child of a family whose annual income is less than INR 8 lakhs.
Eligibility
- Two girls from a family are applicable for this scholarship.
- Candidate must be admitted to 1st year of diploma/degree under the AICTE approved institutions.
- The annual income of an applicant should not be more than RS. 8 lakhs.
Rewards under the Scholarship
- Total no.of students got reward was 4,000 female girls.
- The qualified students get a reward of rs. 30,000 or the actual tuition fees whichever is less.
National Talent Search Organization (NTSE)-
NTSE is a scholarship exam conducted by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) for recognizing talented students who want to pursue higher education in Science and Social Studies streams. This exam is for students studying in class 10th.
The aim of the scholarship is to provide financial grants to talented students from class Xth onwards.
Eligibility
The candidate who was currently studying in class 10th.
Rewards Under the Scholarship
- Offers 1,000 scholarships for candidates of class Xth.
- Monthly stipend of INR 1250 for class XIth and XII students.
- Monthly stipend of INR 2000 for UG and PG courses.
Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY)-
KVPY is a scholarship program implemented by the Department of Science and Technology of the Government of India, aimed at encouraging students to take up research careers in the areas of basic sciences. KVPY is a national program of scholarship in basic sciences.
Eligibility
- The students who qualify in the exam of KVPY is eligible for the scholarship.
- Students from Class 11th up to the 1st year of the UG or PG (science streams) are eligible for it.
Rewards Under the Scholarship
The scholarship is given to the selected students.
CBSE Udaan-
UDAAN is an initiative by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) under the guidance of MHRD, Government of India, to enable disadvantaged girl students to transit from school to post-school professional education especially in Science and Mathematics. As part of this initiative, CBSE will support 1000 disadvantaged girls per year and provide them with free online resources in Class XI and Class XII.
Eligibility
- The citizen of India can apply for UDAAN through CBSE.
- The candidates must be pursuing science streams (PCM) in class XI.
- The annual income of a family is not more than INR 6 lakhs per annum.
- Reservation: 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST, 27% for OBC and 3% for PWD.
Rewards Under the Scholarship
- The students who qualified the test are provided with free materials through online/offline modes.
- Organises virtual contact classes.
MOMA Scholarship-
This is a minority scholarship initiated with the Ministry of Minority Affairs. Merit-cum-Means scholarship is for professional and technical students.
Eligibility
- The students must be studying in India in government or private institutions.
- The family income should not exceed INR 2 lakhs.
Rewards under Scholarship
- The stipend is given to students for a period of 10 months in an academic year.
- The qualified students will receive financial assistance for the entire course.
Swami Vivekananda Single Girl Child Scholarship-
Swami Vivekananda Single Girl Child Scholarship was conducted by the University of Grant Commission (UGC).
The aim is to promote girl education in our society. It was observed that the dropout ratio of education for girls is much higher than that of boys.
Eligibility
- The single girl child of a family.
- The program is applicable to a single girl child of a parent who has registered herself in regular, the fulltime PhD program in Social Sciences in Indian Universities/Colleges/Institutes.
- Girl students up to the age of 40 years for general category and 45 years for the reserved categories, i.e. SC/ST/OBC and PWD are eligible.
Rewards under scholarship
- The qualified students will receive an amount of INR 25,000 per month for the initial two years. For the remaining period, the students will get an amount of INR 28,000 per month.
- The students will also receive a contingency amount of INR 10,000 per annum for the initial two years. For the remaining period, they will get a yearly amount of INR 20,500.
- The students qualified under the Person With Disability (PWD) category will also receive an additional amount of INR 2000 per month as assistance allowance.
Saksham Scholarship-
Saksham scholarship is an initiative of MHRD and implemented by AICTE for differently-abled students who want to pursue their dreams.
Eligibility
- The scholarship is only for candidates with a disability of less than 40%.
- The annual income of the family should be less than INR 8,00,000.
- The student must take admission in 1st-year technical degree or diploma under the AICTE approved institutions.
Rewards under the scholarship
- Every year 1,000 disabled students got the opportunity to live their dreams.
- Awards are given INR 30,000 per annum and an additional amount of INR 2,000 per month for 10 months.
